Our Doctors

​​​​​Dr. Martin was born in Portland, Maine in 1970. She received her undergraduate degree from Bowdoin College in 1992 where she completed a double major in Government and Mathematics. Dr. Martin graduated with honors from the New England College of Optometry in 2006. She is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrist and the American Optometric Association.

Dr. Martin has extensive experience in ocular disease, contact lens fitting and enjoys treating patients of all ages. She is an adjunct clinical faculty member at the New England College of Optometry. When not seeing patients, Dr. Martin enjoys snowboarding, biking and spending time with her family.

​​​​​Dr. Amanda Turcotte is a thorough optometrist providing exceptional eye care to her patients at Cleary Square Eyecare in Hyde Park, MA.  She enjoys educating patients with new technology on the market and making sure they have a full understanding of their eye health.

She is originally from Maine, but fell in love with the Boston area immediately and knew she wanted to stay.  She received all of her education at MCPHS University in Boston and at the MCPHS University School of Optometry in Worcester, MA. She completed her doctorate in an accelerated degree program.

Dr. Turcotte completed rotations in community health centers in East Boston and Providence. She also gained experience with corneal disease at a specialty contact lens facility in the area. She is happily accepting new patients for all types of eye appointments. She has been working alongside founding practitioner Dr. Martin since 2014.

When not seeing patients Dr. Turcotte enjoys exercising, cooking, and cultivating her collection of indoor plants. She lives North of Boston with her husband Andrew.
